Prof Sir Steve Jackson elected as a Fellow of the American Association for Cancer Research Academy in the Class of 2026

Steve elected to the AACR Class of 2026 “For revered contributions to defining cellular DNA damage responses (DDR), including the discovery of DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) and the core machinery of non-homologous end joining as well as for elucidating how ATM and ATR kinases and key post-translational modifications preserve genome stability, work which has since led to the development of DDR inhibitors for patient care.”
